George III Proof Bank Dollar of 5 Shillings 1804 PR67+ Cameo NGC, Royal mint, KM-Tn1, ESC-150. New planchet. Hard to imagine finer, with mirrored surfaces that mimic an evening summer sky after a storm, as gray-blue clouds and flares of apricot iridescence surround the raised designs. Both sides have received an exacting strike, producing that always craved, highpoint cameo frost. Meanwhile the open expanses are coated in a thick, heavy gloss that is totally unimpeded by any distracting marks, providing endless entertainment once in hand and rotated.
