1978 1C MS67+ Red PCGS. This modern issue has proved to be a condition rarity even though 5.5 billion pieces were produced. The surfaces are even red over each side. The date and LIBERTY show evidence of die doubling, but this is not listed in Cherrypicker's. The only feature resembling a flaw is Mint-made: a shallow planchet flake out of the center of the reverse. Population: 57 in 67 (13 in 67+) Red, 1 finer (7/16).(Registry values: P1)
