Description
1913 Ten Dollar, MS65★
Seldom Offered This Fine
1913 $10 MS65★ NGC. Rich, glowing sun-gold luster adorns
largely clean fields and devices on this Gem 1913 Indian eagle. A
sharp strike manifests itself in the crisply detailed border stars
on the obverse and well-delineated talon ribs on the reverse
eagle's feet. The reverse fields especially are devoid of serious
abrasions. This Philadelphia issue is occasionally seen in MS65,
but this is the only coin in this grade with the NGC Star
designation. Finer pieces are rare. Census: 91 in 65 (3 in 65+, 1
in 65?), 16 finer (5/23).(Registry values: N2998)From The Davin Collection.
