Utrecht. Provincial gold Imitative Rose Noble ND (c. 1600-1601) UNC Details (Cleaned) PCGS, Utrecht mint, KM6, Fr-277. 7.57gm. King in ship facing, holding sword and shield; on the stern a banner with lion rampant left; large rose on ship's hull / Rose and sun on cross fleurée, crowns and lions in quarters, all within polylobe. A bold strike on a smooth planchet with the exquisite motifs clearly illustrated, displaying great eye appeal despite light evidence of a prior cleaning.
