Republic Tsao Kun Dollar ND (1923) UNC Details (Rim Damage) PCGS, Tientsin mint, L&M-959, Kann-678, WS-0105. Military uniform type. A highly elusive and popular portrait type from the tumultuous warlord era, struck during Kun's short presidency prior to being ousted in a coup the next year. Still crisp in the detailed rendering of the military uniform despite having succumbed to noted surface interventions and rim damage to the reverse at 1 o'clock.
