Rare Deep Cameo Example
1952 5C PR67 Deep Cameo PCGS. This Jefferson nickel proof
issue is readily obtainable in all grades in non-Cameo and Cameo
format. However, all Deep Cameo coins are very rare. There are
merely 20 Deep / Ultra Cameo grading events at PCGS and NGC
combined despite a generous mintage of nearly 82,000 proofs. Bold
contrast and razor-sharp definition typify this Superb Gem proof.
Pale golden patina appears over each side. Housed in a green label
holder. Population: 11 in 67 (2 in 67+) Deep Cameo, 4 finer
