British India. Victoria gold Proof Restrike 5 Rupees 1870-(c) PR63 NGC, Calcutta mint, KM476, S&W-4.22. More mature bust type. A very rare Proof restrike, scarcely encountered in finer states of preservation. Exhibiting some minor evidence of contact in the yet failing to disguise their exquisite level of gloss, the planchet is of a bright lemon gold color with pleasing detail to Victoria's mature bust. Superb eye appeal for the certified grade, a must-have for collectors of the Indian Proof series.Metal: Gold
