Beautifully Toned Obverse

1831 10C JR-3, R.1, MS65 NGC. Star 7 points to the center of the headband. The obverse shows the second T in STATES over RI, and the O in OF is over the space between (PLURIBU)S U(NUM). JR-3 is one of the most accessible die marriages for the year. The obverse of this marvelous Gem boasts gold-toned centers with a ring of powder-blue and lavender toning around the borders. The reverse is almost entirely brilliant. Lustrous and strongly struck throughout. Census: 24 in 65, 16 finer (3/20).
