Philip V gold 8 Escudos 1735 Mo-MF MS65 PCGS, Mexico City
mint, KM148, Cal-2234, Onza-428. Of unimaginable quality and
preservation for this immensely popular colonial type that, even
when witnessed in far inferior conditional assignments, generates
ample collector interest as only eight have been submitted to both
certification services and straight-graded. Laden with visually
stunning die polish that dances across watery golden fields largely
devoid of significant visual imperfection, the piece stuns even
from afar. Mottled mulberry iridescence decorates the reverse while
Philip V's unusually crisp portrait endures with a gentle frost. Of
