1928-S 1C MS65 Red PCGS. Gem Red examples of this San Francisco issue are scarce, and finer pieces are out of reach for most collectors. This example displays satiny copper-orange luster with a tinge of burgundy at 3 o'clock on the reverse. Die erosion is apparent on both sides, and the O in ONE is weakly defined. Housed in an old green label holder. Population: 75 in 65 (21 in 65+) Red, 5 finer (7/19).(Registry values: N1793)
