Description
1787 1C Fugio Cent, New Haven Restrike, Copper MS64 Brown NGC. N. 104-FF, W-17560. The "New Haven Restrike" was struck from copy dies circa 1859, and has for generations been collected by Fugio specialists as if part of the series. The present example has medal turn, unusual for the issue. Well struck and unabraded with a chocolate-brown obverse and a mostly medium brown reverse. Listed on page 88 of the 2013 Guide Book.From The Dr. Charles Nelson Collection.
