1850 1C N-7, R.2, MS66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Grellman Die State b, with many Mint State examples known from a "large, well-dispersed hoard," per Bob Grellman. This piece has substantial original red mint color that is slightly subdued with brown toning. Devoid of contact, and a lens reveals only infrequent minuscule carbon. Our EAC grade MS64. CAC: 9 in 66 Red and Brown, 0 finer (4/19).
