1793 1/2P Washington Ship Halfpenny, Copper, Lettered Edge AU55 PCGS. Baker-18, W-10855, R.4. Medium brown overall with faded mahogany-red in the legends. Impressively unabraded and problem-free. The reverse die has buckled, as typically seen on this variety. Listed on page 83 of the 2013 Guide Book.From The Dr. Charles Nelson Collection.
