Description

1888-S 10C Misplaced Date, F-107a, R.5, MS64 PCGS. Gerry Fortin states "the misplaced top loop of [an] 8 is above the final 8 in the date." Among the scarcer Fortin varieties for the issue. Satiny, unabraded, and nicely struck. The obverse is white, while the reverse exhibits deep lavender, tobacco-brown, and aquamarine toning.
