Philip IV Cob 8 Reales 1657 NR-PoRS VF Details (Environmental Damage) NGC, Nuevo Reino mint, KM7.1, Cal-535, Restrepo-M46.24. 25.54gm. One of the most desirable and elusive emissions of the colonial cob 8 reales series, evincing light corrosion, likely the result of saltwater damage, which seems only to add to the piece's character. While lightly doubled, the mint, assayer, date, and denomination are all relatively clear with very appreciable centering on the reverse.Auction Info
