Lustrous With Even Red Toning
1909-S/S 1C S Over Horizontal S, FS-1502, MS66 Red PCGS.
Stunning red surfaces are replete with creamy luster and do not
exhibit significant toning spots or abrasions. Almost all details
are well-defined. The non-VDB 1909-S is more difficult to locate in
high grades despite a mintage that is almost quadruple that of its
VDB counterpart. The S Over Horizontal S variety is even scarcer,
and provides yet another point of interest on the cents from this
