1878-S 25C XF40 PCGS. While the 1878-S half dollar is a famous rarity, the quarter dollar is a scarce issue as well. This lightly worn specimen has pewter gray surfaces with mottled iridescent toning. The pleasing surfaces show trivial, grade-consistent handling marks.
