People's Republic gold Proof Panda 500 Yuan (5 oz) 1987 PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC, Shenyang mint, KM164, CC-131, PAN-50A. Mintage: 3,000. A wonderful earlier 5-ounce issue dressed in full golden resplendence, the frosted Panda, for which the series is named, is lit aglow upon the expansive planchet with only the most trivial of imperfections to define the grade. Wholly deserving of the assigned "Ultra Cameo" designation and sold with the original box of issue and COA numbered "000451."
