Description

Philip V 8 Reales 1733 Mo-F UNC Details (Saltwater Damage, Cleaned) NGC, Mexico City mint, KM103, Cal-1435. A seldom-seen early "Pillar" type for a date more often than not witnessed as a Cob. Despite the notation of saltwater damage and subsequent cleaning, the piece at hand remains impressively well-preserved, likely falling victim to shipwreck soon after being struck. With so few of these extant, any collector should jump at the chance to own this date/mintmark combination with as much detail as the current offering.
