Republic bronze Uniface Reverse Trial Strike 2 Centavos ND (1883) MS64 Red and Brown NGC, Mexico City mint, KM-TS11, cf. Buttrey/Hubbard-pg. 248. A virtually unblemished specimen that radiates with flashy cobalt and peach tone, situating it on the cusp of Gem Mint State. Encountered with even less frequency than the trial strikes of the 5 Centavos from the same year, this is the first example we have presented, and is offered here alongside the obverse trial (previous lot).Ex.
