Menelik II Proof Birr EE 1892 (1900) PR66 NGC, Paris mint, KM19, Gill Y-10. An exquisite Proof offering of this highly regarded Ethiopian "Taler" issue. The argent surfaces are perfectly mottled with autumnal color while a champagne-hued glow radiates from the mirrors. The obverse depiction of a regal Menelik II and the reverse illustration of the Lion of Judah show a type of boldness that will impress even the most discerning eye.
