1942/1-D Overdate Dime, MS64 Full Bands
1942/1-D 10C MS64 Full Bands NGC. FS-101. Many years after the 1942/1 P-Mint overdate was discovered, sharp-eye collectors found this similar Denver Mint overdate. The delay in discovery was due to the less obvious overdate feature on this variety. This lovely Choice Mint State piece has light gold toning over frosty silver luster with bold design features. Census: 23 in 64 Full Bands, 13 finer (4/11).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23K6, PCGS# 5041, Greysheet# 4610)
