Description

1870 2C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. This high-end proof is among the finest Red and Brown pieces certified. The obverse displays cherry-red and gold hues, while the reverse has faint olive tinting of otherwise yellow-gold fields. Both sides are deeply reflective and fully struck without carbon spotting. The 1870 proof two cent piece is scarce this fine.
