Nicholas II Rouble 1899-ЗБ MS64 PCGS, St. Petersburg mint, KM-Y59.3, Bit-48. Far and away an outlier in Nicholas II's Rouble series, not only for its superior technical grade--currently the finest at PCGS--but also for its overall visual presentation. Usually a denomination prone to excessive marking, the coin seen here showcases noticeable clean fields chocked full of die polish. Likely all that bounds the designation shy of gem is a small grouping of scratches to the left of the eagle, though even this does next to nothing to hamper the offering's strong eye appeal.Ex.
