Republic gold 100 Schilling 1938 UNC Details (Cleaned) NGC, KM2857, Fr-523. Mintage: 1,400. Even the low mintage number doesn't paint the full picture as this is a type and date that rarely appears at auction. Not only have we never handled this date, but the paucity of international auction records reveals the utter lack of examples still in existence, or perhaps the unwillingness by collectors to relinquish the pieces that they might be fortunate enough to own.
