MS64+ Red, Bold Strike
1864 2C Small Motto, FS-401, MS64+ Red PCGS Secure. A
fire-red near-Gem with blushes of olive-green across the fields and
glimpses of lilac on the high points. Crisply struck and lustrous
with minimal contact and one small spot northwest of the large 2.
The initial Small Motto subtype was promptly replaced by its Large
Motto successor.Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 38234, Base PCGS# 3581)
