1868 3CS PR67 NGC. Proof three cent silver pieces from the 1860s are popularly used as type coins. Few are actually available as Superb Gem proofs, but lesser grades can be obtained with some searching. This brightly reflective proof shows superior toning on each side with lovely shades of pinkish-rose and sky-blue present. A nearly flawless proof striking.
