Description
1921 Half Dollar, MS64+
Rare CAC-Approved Example
1921 50C MS64+ PCGS. CAC. Boasting a mintage of only 246,000
pieces, the 1921 is the rarest Philadelphia issue in the Walking
Liberty half dollar series. Examples are collectible for a price
through MS64, and Gems are scarce. However, rarer still are coins
that can be considered high end for their grades. The CAC
population in MS64 is only 16 pieces, and a similarly small number
of finer examples are also CAC endorsed. This coin not only boasts
the CAC green label, but it is also Plus designated by PCGS.
Impressively sharp definition characterizes Liberty's head and
branch hand, and the satiny luster yields soft russet-gold toning.
Only trivial field marks limit the grade. CAC: 16 in 64, 15 finer
(11/21).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24R6, PCGS# 6583, Greysheet# 6703)
