1824/1 50C MS62 NGC. O-101, R.2. The overdate obverse is shared for two varieties, O-101 with the U above N on the reverse, and O-102 with a die dot above the eagle's head, the latter a major rarity for variety collectors. This pleasing piece has satiny luster with faint blue toning at the borders.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 6139, Greysheet# 6244)
