Description

1871-CC 50C WB-101, Die Pair 5, R.5, VF25 PCGS. The Large CC mintmark is closely spaced and level. Remarkably, mint luster remains at the margins on both sides of this moderately worn half. Pleasing orange-gold and tan-brown toning blanket both sides of the coin. Although not the scarcest Carson City date, the issue is always in demand by both Seated half specialists and Carson City collectors. Population: 5 in 25, 82 finer (5/16).
