1942-D Half Dollar, MS67+
CAC-Approved Registry Candidate
1942-D 50C MS67+ NGC. CAC. This Denver issue is part of the
1941-1947 Walker short set, a popular set among collectors who
would rather assemble a short run of high-end coins than compromise
quality to fill out an entire series collection of lower-grade
pieces. The 1942-D is plentiful in MS67 but is scarce in this grade
with a Plus designation. This coin is also CAC endorsed, setting it
apart from the majority of its peers. Delicate champagne color
tints softly frosted surfaces. NGC lists only nine finer examples
(6/23).(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24S7, PCGS# 6615, Greysheet# 6753)
