Hunan. Republic Dollar Year 11 (1922) MS62 NGC, Changsha mint, KM-Y404, L&M-867, Kann-763, WS-0930. Struck to commemorate the promulgation of the Hunan Provincial Constitution. A minimally available example of this souvenir type and one that infrequently comes to market decidedly Mint State, which is met with greater and greater appreciation. Appreciable cabinet tones percolate across largely mark-free expanses to confirm NGC's conditional assessment, framing the crisp central motifs of this expansive Dollar. A prime target for the provincial specialist.
