Nicholas II "Gangut Battle Anniversary" Rouble 1914-BC AU Details (Repaired) PCGS, St. Petersburg mint, KM-Y71, Bitkin-337, Severin-4187. Commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Russian Naval victory over their Swedish rivals at the Battle of Gangut. A type that always elicits excitement among Russian specialists for its rarity and spartan beauty as a commemorative unlike virtually all others. While a small patch to the reverse is likely cause for PCGS's "repaired" comment, this ultimately does little to detract from the overall Prooflike appearances of the piece at hand.
