1840-O 25C Drapery MS63 PCGS. Briggs 2-C. Small O. In late 1982, construction near the Le Meridian Hotel in New Orleans uncovered a hoard of New Orleans silver coins, likely including the present well struck example. It has good luster and rich cream-gray toning with tan, russet, and sea-green accents. A slender mark is on the top of Liberty's legs, and a thin lamination is near the ST in STATES. Population: 6 in 63, 9 finer (6/13).
