1876 3CN MS65 PCGS. CAC. Soft greenish-gray patina adorns the radiantly lustrous surfaces of this Gem three cent nickel that exhibit well-struck devices. Chatter is visible in the middle of the first upright of the III. MS65 is the highest grade level that one might expect as finer examples are rare. PCGS and NGC report only 17 submissions finer. Housed in an old green label holder. Population: 35 in 65 (1 in 65+), 13 finer. CAC: 16 in 65, 7 finer (8/16).(Registry values: N1793)
