1915-D 1C MS66 Red PCGS. A delightful coin for the specialist who demands original color and surfaces. Full Red appears on both sides with no noticeable fading, and only a few carbon flecks scatter across both sides, particularly at O in ONE and above the date. The fields and raised devices are excellent, with a only tiny ticks found under scrutiny including a short mark hidden in Lincoln's hairline. A prize for the Lincoln cent collector and a coin that is currently tied behind one numerically finer coin at PCGS. Population: 35 in 66 Red, 1 finer (9/16).(Registry values: N1793)
