Description
1869 $1 Repunched Date, FS-302, OC-3, AU55 NGC. A mostly untoned Choice AU example with partially reflective fields and a brush of high-point wear. The serif of an errant 1 is seen in the field between the 1 and 8 in the date, and the reverse is faintly die doubled. The 1869 Seated dollar is a slightly better date in high grade and experiences proportionately strong demand.
