1940-D 25C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. The 1940-D is an important condition rarity in the Washington quarter series, and this example is an impressive Superb Gem. The 1940-D had the fifth lowest mintage of any Washington quarter. The present Superb Gem has lovely powder-blue and pale gold toning over frosty silver luster with pristine surfaces. Population: 65 in 67 (6 in 67+), 0 finer. CAC: 29 in 67, 0 finer (4/19).
