Description

Pristine MS68 1943-S Cent

1943-S 1C MS68 PCGS. Faint tan toning visits this lustrous and immaculate single-year type coin. The strike is close to full, with the experienced eye noting only inconsequential inexactness on the upper half of the O in ONE. Though unpopular in their day, the zinc-plated steel cents have long been collector favorites, and become significant scarcities in the present extraordinary grade. Population: 52 in 68, 0 finer (6/12).(Registry values: N991)
