Scarce as a Circulation Strike
1879 3CN MS67 PCGS Secure. Ex: TDP Collection. The mintage
for proofs was low with only 38,000 pieces struck, and high-grade
survivors are predictably rare. This is a highly attractive
business strike that displays moderate semiprooflikeness in the
fields, but certainly not enough reflectivity to be confused with a
proof coin. Light, even golden patina covers each side. Sharply
