Description

1880/79-CC $1 Reverse of 1878, VAM-4, MS65 PCGS. A Top 100 Variety. Light to medium silver-gray toning visits this lustrous and well-struck Carson City dollar. Exceptionally free from marks, the surfaces show a hint of granularity, as made from lightly rusted dies. VAM-4 is the famous Guide Book variety that pairs the most prominent overdate of the series with an obsolete Second Reverse.
