1882-O $1 MS66+ PCGS. CAC. Ex: JCS Collection. Our consignor cherrypicked this remarkable coin, which shows rarely seen sharp central detail and vibrant, satiny mint luster. Each side is brilliant, complementing an absence of abrasions. The 1882-O is seldom found in MS66, and fewer than a dozen piece in this grade are Plus designated. CAC-endorsed examples are equally rare. Population: 98 in 66 (11 in 66+), 8 finer; 3 in 66 Prooflike, 0 finer; 1 in 66 Deep Mirror Prooflike, 0 finer. CAC: 10 in 66, 2 finer (7/19).
