1846 10C F-101, R.4, AU53 PCGS. With a small 31,300-coin mintage, the 1846 stands out as a key issue among 1840s Seated dimes. This issue experienced heavy circulation, and most survivors are located in VF or lower grades. This AU representative is conditionally rare, and only three low-end Mint State pieces are certified. This representative is well-detailed with steel-gray patina that shows occasional olive overtones; an evenly struck example with little wear. Population: 4 in 53, 8 finer (5/16).
