Description

.

1892 $1 Morgan Dollar PR67 PCGS Secure. CAC. The 1892 Morgan dollar has a relatively abundant mintage of 1,245 pieces, owing to the short-lived novelty of the Barber minor silver design. This Superb Gem specimen, though imperfectly struck on the hair over Liberty's ear, is a magnificently preserved piece with rich blue and violet luster over much of the obverse and reverse, the latter side adding green. Windows of lighter pearl-gray patina at the upper right obverse and inner reverse showcase the coin's inherent reflectivity and what must have been great contrast at one time, as the devices are frosty. Population: 15 in 67, 1 finer (9/12).(Registry values: N4719)
