1846-D $2 1/2 AU58 NGC. Variety 7-J. Four different reverses are known, despite a mintage of only 19,303 pieces. A lustrous and untoned Borderline Uncirculated example with clean surfaces aside from a thin obverse mark near stars 10 to 13. Census: 49 in 58, 13 finer (11/07).(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25H3, PCGS# 7742, Greysheet# 8352)
