1893 Columbian Half, MS67
Very Scarce in High Grades
1893 50C Columbian MS67 NGC. The Columbian half is a classic
case of "Many are called, few are chosen." Large numbers were sold
at the exposition in 1892 and 1893, but most were mishandled by
non-collectors. The result is very few Superb Gems are known today.
This example has brilliant centers that are surrounded at the
margins by successive rings of golden and blue toning. Highly
