Description

1921 Walking Liberty Half Dollar, MS64+
Elusive, Low-Mintage Issue

1921 50C MS64+ PCGS. CAC. The 1921 Walking Liberty half dollar claims the second-lowest mintage of the series at 246,000 pieces, making the issue relatively scarce in today's market, especially in high grade. This Plus-graded Choice specimen exhibits well-detailed design elements, with a touch of softness on Liberty's head and the eagle's leg, but definite separation between the thumb and fingers on the wreath hand. The well-preserved surfaces radiate vibrant mint luster throughout, with a few subtle hints of lavender and pale gold toning. Overall eye appeal is outstanding. PCGS has graded 60 numerically finer examples (5/16).(Registry values: N2998)
