1923-S Quarter Dollar, MS65+
Semikey San Francisco Issue
1923-S 25C MS65+ NGC. Well preserved and beautifully
lustrous, this high-end Gem 1923-S also boasts a sharp date and
stars. Liberty's head and the shield rivets have the usual
softness. Ivory-white luster rolls over each side but on the
obverse cedes to tinges of amber in the right margin. A loupe
reveals a few trivial marks on the high points of Liberty's leg.
NGC Census: 46 in 65 (2 in 65+, 1 in 65?), 28 finer
