1873-S $5 AU50 PCGS. From a small mintage of 31,000 pieces, the 1873-S Liberty half eagle is seldom encountered in high grade. This well-detailed AU specimen shows only minor signs of circulation, with pleasing orange-gold surfaces that display highlights of rose. Population: 6 in 50, 13 finer (7/14).(Registry values: P3)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25WM, PCGS# 8332, Greysheet# 9056)
