Description

1868 3CN MS66 PCGS. CAC. This attractive Premium Gem shows bold luster over surfaces with light gold accents. Each side is multiply die-clashed with slight rotations between clashes that offset the clash marks, a fascinating effect. The repeated clash marks on the reverse have led to a die crack above the wreath ends, the die's surface no longer quite coplanar at that point. Population: 33 in 66, 1 finer (3/14).(Registry values: N1793)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2756, PCGS# 3734, Greysheet# 2770)
